Gospel Rescue Mission

In this role at Gospel Rescue Mission, I leveraged my creative design skills to effectively convey the organization's mission and connect with its audience. Through design, content creation, and coordination, I played a key part in advancing the organization's goals and increasing its impact in the community.

Arizona Jet-Mail

In the 3+ years of working at AJM, I learned new software, hardware and print/production tricks of the trade. I designed and created a wide array of printed media, including booklets, brochures, newsletters, postcards, logos, business cards, reports, letters, envelopes and forms. I also learned a lot about bulk mailing, variable data printing and mailing lists.

Arco da Vella

It means RAINBOW in old Gaelic. I thought it was a fitting name for my freelance graphic design business. It was Rainbow Vision GraFX prior to 2010. I have been accepting freelance graphics jobs since 1998. I always seem to be working on some sort of graphics job, whether I was working full time, part time or unemployed.

Allegra Print & Imaging

Although I only worked for Allegra for a short time (due to family issues), I really enjoyed the time I spent as their graphic designer. Their creative graphic designer has to keep up with all jobs/clients and also take all jobs that require graphics work from concept to the press (including all proofs).

BScene Live

Is a website & a magazine all about the live music scene in Tucson. My job was to create the magazines that would be posted on the website in PDF format and & printed for distribution throughout Tucson. There are 92 samples from 7 issues that I created in this group.

The Art Institute

I attended the Art Institute (online) to earn my Bachelor's Degree in Interactive Media & Web Design. I am still working on this degree & enjoy learning through the online learning system the Art Institute uses.

Mail Time

I learned a lot about mass mailings and how to run several different kinds of machines that produce them while working at Mail Time. I did get to use some of my graphics skills, however mostly it was production & pre press work.

Heritage Sign & Display

This was the most educational job I have ever had! I learned so much and was able to use my creative talents to their fullest! Being able to print onto glass (that could be mirrored later) and adding white and clear to the normal CMYK inks was just mind boggling!  I only wish my time there was longer.

ALC Inc.

I created the entire corporate identity for ALC Inc. from the ground up. I worked as their Art Director for 5 years, and also their Production Manager for two of those years. Some of my most challenging work was done for ALC. I have done a few freelance jobs for them since we parted  ways

Raytheon Missile Systems

Working at Raytheon was a whole new kind of experience for me. That is why I include the few samples I have from there, even though it was so long ago. I did some unique graphics work there, including using a plotter to make vinyl signs and painting hard plastic models of missiles with all their parts to scale.

Traditional Media Artwork

I originally wanted to be a graphic artist because I was already an artist... but everyone knows that artists don't usually make very much money..."starving artist." So, Here are a few pieces that I drew by hand. A few were later scanned and manipulated further on the computer.
